Regarded as one of the world’s most fascinating dogs, the Chow Chow is complex and independent, known around the world for its lion-like appearance, scowling expression and bluish-black tongue. Whether adorned with a profuse rough coat or a dense smooth coat, the Chow Chow cuts an impressive image.

Temperament

Unlike many books that I read before I had my first Chow and now with the experience with 3 Chows, they are extremely obedient and well-mannered. The only negative thing I noticed is as they mature and grow older, they tend to become lazy.
