Gorgeous Red Chow Chow |
Appearance
Chow Chow resembles the looks of a bear or a male lion. The most distinctive feature is its blue-black tongue. It has pointed ears and almond shaped eyes. The most common colors of Chows are red, black and cream, but can also come in blue or gray.

Temperament
Unlike many books that I read before I had my first Chow and now with the experience with 3 Chows, they are extremely obedient and well-mannered. The only negative thing I noticed is as they mature and grow older, they tend to become lazy.

Living Conditions
The Chow Chow will do okay in a medium sized apartment with some light exercise. Sensitive to heat, in hotter countries air conditioning is a must. However, it can live outdoors in cooler places.
